The non-profit Dr Michael Munkert Foundation was established by the Munkert family in memory of Dr Michael Munkert snr. Dr Munkert placed great emphasis on supporting university and vocational training, particularly in the tax-consultancy and auditing professions. Being involved with ‘his’ economics and social sciences was always particularly important to him.
The foundation’s main purpose is therefore to support science and research, as well as education and personal development. Its secondary purpose is to selflessly support people dependent on the help of others due to their physical, intellectual or mental condition.
